About me,
A little
If you've found your way here, chances are you're carrying a lot. Most people are. Those I work with tend to hold it all quietly on the outside; whilst feeling slightly heavy on the inside, and usually while looking after everyone else first.
I understand that life. I'm part of a big blended family, and my work and life have taken more twists and turns than most. Decades across industry and the Ministry of Defence, then years alongside brilliant charities and change-makers as a business and leadership consultant. A very corporate CV, on paper.
But somewhere along the way, through my own search for a softer way of being, I found the thread that ran through all of it: I want to help people. Not in a grand way... in a real one. A little clarity. A little peace. A little pause. A little power. If my work leaves even a small positive ripple in someone's life, it's done what it was meant to do.
That intention became Gently Uplifting, and it now takes a few forms:
The Clinic & Rituals
Therapeutic facial and bodywork... a gentle blend of science and spirit, working with anatomy, fascial tension and the nervous system. This isn't beauty (although there is a little sprinkle of it). This is intentional bodywork.
The Seasonal Gatherings
Gentle, restorative sessions that follow the turning of the year, held in settings designed to comfort. Come to one, come to them all... a place to rest with the season you're in.
The Claritas Method
The ever-evolving framework beneath everything I offer and my passion project... where nervous system care meets honest reflection. It's shaped by my ongoing studies in Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy, because holding space for people is a responsibility I take seriously. Heart-led, and responsibly informed.
Whatever I learn, I weave back into every treatment, gathering and conversation. And as I evolve, so does this work.
Whether you're seeking deep rest, gentle challenge, clarity or simply a place to be... you're welcome here, fully, just as you are.
If you'd like to journey quietly alongside me, my letters share seasonal reflections, small practices and first news of gatherings.
